LOL! He has lowered his price to an F50! I'd wait a few years and offer him a 328!

I would love to see the 42' plasma screen TV. It must get hung from the side of the boat for harbourside movies!

That Wally is awesome. I have read about them before. I know that the big version (118ft) is over $50 mil IIRC. Does anyone know the price structure of some of the smaller craft? I had no idea they had so many models till the above posted their website.

$50 mil??? You could get yourself a brand new Gulfstream or a Cessna Citation or a Learjet.... and still have enough cash left over to buy a nice house in Hawaii, a place in Manhattan, AND a chalet in Aspen.... plus a nice collection of supercars... and you'd still have enough money left over to spend on minor things like furniture, or your pilot's wages :) .... man, WHO would spend $50mil on a speedboat?????

$50mil makes the FXX seem like a real bargain.

I'm working and saving a lot to be able to afford a nice sports car in the next few years. When I see something with a price tag like this, I honestly don't know what to think.

i know a decent amount about boating and the such.

the prices that people pay for some of these boats makes the amount that people pay for cars seem like pennies.

i remember being at sagg harbor 2 years ago and there were at least 10 120-200 ft boats all lined up next to eachother. the least expensive one was at least 10 million.

the largest one there that day had 2 crew members on a scaffold on the side of the boat scrubbing it down as if they were on the side of a building!

many of the owners of these mega yachts rent them out to help curb the cost. even keeping the boat docked costs a certain amount per foot per year. not to mention paying the crew, gasoline, ect.

the older ones arent that expensive (relatively) but the maintaince on an older boat can be out of control.

as a general principle (very general!) and depending on the specific custome features (which can easily expoentially add to the cost)....a 50ft boat costs about 1 million (like a ocean, viking....depending on make of course) and when you get to 100ft its about 10 million (new, but this price can be extremely variable).

    Bill
