Last weekend I walked into the local dealership just to nose around on a Friday afternoon... a week later I've got a new F12 in my garage... I couldn't believe they had one available- and when I saw it - I just couldn't resist... even though I love the new spider I just purchased 7 months ago.. I wish I could have both, but will have to wait for the new garage to be built.. The Rosso Berlinetta color is awesome and the spec on the car was great and neutral enough to be a crowd pleaser.. Delivery couldn't have come at a worse time, related to the pollen season.. Driving around our area of the country yields yellow pollen contrails behind the car.... so pictures will likely be better shot later.. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Only thing they left off - the passenger digital readout feature... I'd trade it for a carbon fiber cup holder right now.. Image Unavailable, Please Login
These seats are pretty comfortable - Definitely see this as a DD if you wanted to.. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Rob, congrats! I'm in the same boat as you are! I bought my first F on January and I'm already directed on a Bianco Fuji 458! Pay attention, they're addictive! Ares Sent from my F430 using Tapatalk.
I feel many 458 owners will make the leap to the F12. Seeing how it is now Ferrari's new B.M.O.C. (Big Man on Campus). Isn't most of the V12 in this one a de-tuned F1 motor - or is it as any Ferrari engine designer would probably tell you that's the angle at which they approached design?
Congrats! How would you personally compare driving experience between the 2. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Last year's f1 engine was a NA v8 and this years f1 is a turbo v6 so not really in line with current f1 tech. Gesendet von meinem iPhone mit Tapatalk
Congrats Rob, Rosso Berlinetta is a great color. Please share some more photos when you have a moment. Goplay- fleecy chassis?
Thank you- I like them all - I can't wait till I can accumulate instead of trade! Thanks thanks Thanks Thanks
Wow! How lucky you were to find a new F12 available at your dealership. It must have been fate. Enjoy in good health!
That's the second "lucky" customer I've read about just this week. The other was a new 458 that another dealer had in stock. Hmmm... Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
after a few days - Wow - what a difference the F12 is - not only better - but different. First, the F12 is obviously faster in a straight line... push the pedal down and hope you have complete control and hands on the steering. It's an amazing machine and responsive.. as you'd expect from a super car. It's a white knuckle experience. Cornering/Handling - better than I thought it would be. because its new to me, I'm being very careful. The 458 was more comfortable to me in corners and handling in general. Probably a result of more time and experience with it vs this F12 so far. Result after a few days? I love both the 458 and the F12 - I want both! Rob
