    I hope I like it much for than the 599. Love the look of the 599 but the shifting just got to me. Will post pics soon

    I've never driven a better all around car in my life. The FF is so useable and awesome. You will start to realize it once you drive it for a week

    I always wanted a 599 for its beautiful looks, until I drove one. Superb performance but I couldn't agree with the gearbox. FF and F12 DCT is so much more pleasant to live with.

    You have a quicker, better/newer tech car that can haul friends out, or get stuff, in all weather. I would think you'd love it :)

    Congrats! I agree that the FF is the best all around car I've ever driven. Superb luxury and comfort at slow city speeds and just a wild V12 beast when you want it.

    I always wanted a 599 as well, I just loved the look of the thing and thought they looked good value.

    I finally got around to testing one and while I enjoyed it, I ended up buying an FF... which is just perfect for me.

    Along with the jerky F1 transmission I was always disappointment on how unstable the 599 felt. Fell in love with the shooting brake design of the M Coupe when I was a teenager, should of just bought a FF to begin with instead of trying the 599

    Now I have a M Coupe and a FF:)

    Agree with you on 599 GTB F1 Transmission so jerky but totally different F1 tranny on 599 GTO. I like how the 599 GTO shift compare to the 599 GTB because you can feel the real Ferrari F1 fast shifting but not too jerky. IMO........ for sure you will like FF because DCT is so much pleasant to use daily.

    Do you find red interior disturbing on long trips? Leather color looks very intense!

    My brother has a 458 spider that has even more red (steering wheel/upper dash eft...) and he never complains. Of course we live in the cloudy climate so maybe that has a impact. My 599 had red as well and it never bothered me at all.

    If I had a choice I would like a red upper dash and steering wheel as well. More red!


    Haven't even driven the FF yet :(

    Thank you for your detailed answer! I adore red interiors, but always have thoughts about possible distraction due to intensity of color.
