just wanted to share my excitement. Was worried I would not like the car or miss my f430 too much. But having driven the California for a couple of weeks now, I am glad I did it! I miss the 430 but I dont want it back. I got it in Scuderia Red, Daytona Electric Seats, Upgraded wheels and 10k miles. I usualy dont like getting cars with the many mile but since its a Cali a GT car, I figured it should be okay.

Congratulations .. The California really is a great car I am now on my second and I think you will find it to be a car that you can drive anywhere an always have the fun of a very fast and great looking car.. Best of luck

congrats. since you have a maclaren the California rounds out your stable quite nicely.

when you get a chance, can you give some impressions about the Cali vs. the maclaren. I've been toying with the idea of making the swap.

Well done! No need for the 430 when you have a Maclaren. My Cali is a daily driver, and its been great. Rack up the miles and have fun with it!

Hard to compare the two. For starters, the mclaren is a lot faster in every way. I have the coupe version so I dont have the versatility of a convertible but they do have a spider version. The mclaren isnt easy for me to take anywhere, it gets way too much attention and hard to open doors in parking lots. But I have to say it is comfortable and a very very nice drive.
I like the easy to drive but still fast feeling I get from the Cali. I also like that it gets attention but not to much. I can also take it to the movies without feeling like that im going to ding someone else's car, lol.

Have you guys since that episode of epic drives with the california over at route 33. Took the mclaren there and had a blast. I will be taking the Cali there soon too.

thanks for the reply. I didn't realize the doors would be that much trouble.

wow! congrats. that Cali looks orange in color - assuming crappy phonecam effect. anxiously awaiting to hear your comparisons for Cali vs. 458; 458 vs Mclaren, etc. thanks.

Congrats. Some would say you have the ideal two car garage. Cali for a DD or near DD, and a 458 for special drives/track. Only I think I'd swap the colors so the 458 was red and the Cali grey.

Awesome collection. What's the yellow car in the background? I'm on my phone and can't quite make out what it is.

my guess is some 911 iteration...answer is?? (either way, that is quite the "stable"! how do you decide from day to day which car to exercise that particular day?!)

please advise, i have a neighbor who had a 458 on ferrari lease, when it came up he sold the car and bought a Mac. I thought it odd, but do not know the difference as i have not driven either.
