    So I got an "Illegal U-turn" Citation the other week in Norcross. There were only 4 signs that said "No U-turn Allowed" I still think it was weak, cuz it was on a Sunday morning, on a quiet road with no cars around, but whatever...

    I called and they said its gonna be 3 pts on my license. The fine is only $95.00 which I am willing to pay, but the points on my license would be less than stellar!


    Anyone have any credible insight about what I should do to avoid the pts on my license?

    My court date is at the Norcross Municipal Court next Wedn. April 19th. Thanks!

    Get a lawyer, find out who is connected. Someone at FOA told me who to get, and it worked.

    If traffic school is an option for you, it will most likely erase your points.

    In some areas you can call the DA or asst. DA or clerk, plead guilty, offer to pay the find and court cost and take traffic school in lieu of points if you have a good record (1st offense).

    Are you going to drive that car I've heard about for 20 years but never seen...I don't know for sure if I'm going to T.Rutlands... but, I will be at Giovannis on Saturday at 4pm ...

    I've heard that if you pay over the ticket, no points get added until they send u a check for how much you paid over, which never happens. A lawyer sounds good too...

    In Fulton you can attend court and plead "no lo" and pay the fine with no points and I assume its the same in Dekalb as long as its you first ticket in 5 years. If you call the number on the back of the citation they will tell you straight away.
