Train Destroys Ferrari 550 in Sherman, TX

Be sure to listen to this guy's (hammered) 911 call. The 911 Operator asks where he thinks he is, and he replies, 'I think I'm in Mansfield' !!!!

They never get real close to the car, but they do zoom in on a piece of the drivers side front bumper laying on the ground nearby

Looks kinda like a 360, I'm sure Jano can find out when the car hits the salvage auction.

Next thing you know, the Smart Car advocates are going to read this and post that the "survival cell" would have totaled the train and the Smart Car would have merely bounced off the tracks harmlessly.

It's a 550. 360 doesn't have a cavallino in the front grill area. You can also tell by the air duct on the broken off piece of bumper.

Just got a message from by brother that said he saw this on the news last night and the said the driver owns a service shop, anybody know anything about that?

The best part is when the operator corrects him and tells him he's in Collin County and he replies, "oh, well I'm in Collin County then." Judging by how drunk he sounds on that 911 call, this was an accident waiting to happen...

This has been posted like 7 times in different places.

 

I don't know what's more terrifying, having your Ferrari being hit by a train or being the 911 operator and having to tell the driver to exit the car when there is a train about to hit it.
