Saw their concert this year. Excellent A/V production. Anyhoot, if anyone saw them this year, I have a question. In the second half of their show, they played a piece they said was from the 6th century. Anyone know the title, or buy a program that might have the songs listed? It's been bugging me, I know it was used in a movie but I can't remember which.
Not being well versed in the classics I couldn't tell you the name. There were two classical songs done, the beginning of one I recognised as being used to open the evening news on network television (US) back in the 60's. I remember it well as a child. Go to their website and I am sure you can find the program line up. There were none at the show unfortunately. NOTE; Their are actually TWO Siberian Orchestras touring the US this winter due to the demand. This is their biggest year in a decade.
