    Every now and again I recieve an email or pm regarding my semi-extensive stash of racing video's and if I have any for sale so.....................can anyone in Houston help? I know I should have already purchased the unit for this task as the majority of my tapes are from the '80s which are the ones normally requested.

    I do not want to sell the dvd copy's I just want to share them with others free of charge. Of course I will supply the disc and time is NOT of the essence and my only requirement/request is that I recieve a copy and get back the originals tapes.

    ps, I think I have almost every F1 race since '81 or '82 and alot of other programs from the past.

    This is random but do you have the Speed Channel coverage of the 2004 USGP? Or really any coverage for that matter?

    I am not sure if I recorded that race but if I did it would still be on VHS.

    I know what I need but cannot afford one so I was hoping one of my local F-Chat friends could help out. The tapes are in a storage bin and can be delivered and as I mentioned there are no time restraints. Back in the '80s I recorded F1 qaulifying aswell and some of the tapes also contain Group B Rally and some IMSA races aswell as other series, hey it WAS the '80s :D.

    I recently purchased a converter for our office that does VHS to DVD & has worked great. Let you know Monday make & model.

    Storage lockers have been getting broken into at my location and the first thing I thought of was my tape collection but all is good! Thankfully I know better than to keep any electronics or valuables there. The good news is they have the culprit on several video's from various other break-ins and HQ are building their case before presenting it to the DA. The accused has a storage unit in my section which contains about 15 units (all have been burglarized now) and you need an access code to enter the section.
