I bought the two disk special edition, the second disk is all behind the scenes, production design, interviews, effects, stunts, locations, etc. Bay put a lot into this & he did a great job, the only thing that was a bit incomplete was the directors commentary. There were several areas of the film that he would start speaking then stop for a couple of minutes then start speaking again. I'm sure he's a busy person but it's like he did the commentary within one take.

If you fast forward through all of the credits you get to a screen in which you can watch the Iron Man trailer...its been out for months but it was nice to see it with surround sound.

i don't go to see a movie called "Transformers" and look for character development. i also don't go to strip clubs looking for fine wine. Perhaps your expectations were too high for a movie about talking robots from outer space.

You are correct; there was no depth. it was a just a lot of "icing and stickers on cardboard". but hey, sometimes fake tits and collagen can be a welcome substitute for conversations and spooning

Watched it tonight. Thought it was entertaining from the FX and action aspects. Plot had lot's of holes. Like how did grampa's glasses have a map to the cube, even though the dam was built after they found to cube?
