I'm only asking because I can believe how cheap it sold for. I'm even more surprised that I won it! The last time I saw the Autograph Engine Transkit, which was at least 4 years ago, It sold for more than $600. I have been watching ever since the last time I saw it in order to get it. I have been buying, on occasion, any kit that was available since I picked up the model, and I only needed the engine kit and the wheels before I wanted to start to do anything with it. I even picked up the stuff to scratch build the exhaust line and mufflers. Anyways, I figured this auction would have reached way more than it did. I guess I just got lucky on this one! I now have everything I need for it, except the paint, to get it started. Now to get the time to start building the car up. I'll get that soon enough. Just need some of the tools required for it.

    Tell me your thoughts!

Yes, I was watching the auction as well and was about to bid at the end, but saw my own self-imposed limit had already been met and passed (yes, I'm cheap!). Even so, congrats, that is a great deal you scored, retail you must have at least $700+ in parts and pieces.

For now I have the car and a modest supply of transkit pieces...aiming to purchase the Autograph wheel kit next.

I had a limit, but would have paid more. I put in the last bid and got it way less than I expected to. As far as the wheels, they are the ones from Scale Details. I had been wanting to get them for a long time to. I've spoke to Stephane (Scale Details) about them in the past. The best thing about them is that they are all together when you buy them from him. He told me that all of the Autograph wheels seem to never get finished. Anyways, If there are any parts you need, and Since I know I will have some extras, let me know. Some of the kits I received I already have.
