    My f1 transmission has a number last 8 digits are 174451594 according to the service manual is mine after 768 or not. Also there are a main shaft and lay shaft which shaft turns the wheels?

    I think that you are not getting much in the way of answers because your question(s) is/are not clear. However, one can say that the main shaft is exactly that - it is the output shaft from the 'box. The layshaft is internal to the gear box.
