    Lol!

Don't feal bad. Nobody responded probably because they don't know. But thanks for letting the rest of us know where to go.

Say are you gonna post a DIY tread, with pics, when you changing the tranny mount?

Well, guess what? Ferrparts charged me for the mounts, but they never had them. I have been waiting for them. No one called to inform me. My car is in the air at FOH. Now I am on the hunt for them again! Part #139230 I need two. Feeling pretty screwed right now.

Ricambi has that part number for sale on their website.
EDIT: Listed at zero dollars so probably not!

I called them. They were very helpful but they came up with nothing. So I am still on the hunt..

Did you try either T Rutlands or Lyle Tanner? Sometimes you get lucky. Also you might find some recycled ones that will do.

I will try Lyle Tanner. Rutlands is a no go...

But do you know where one can buy the parts? ;)

Seriously, even though I don't need them right now, I'm curious.

To the OP, those look a lot like some BMW rear subframe bushings. Probably more trouble than you want to go to, but if you can't find them elsewhere you might be able to machine polyurethane BMW bushes to fit.

Just trying to support our sponsors. :)

A proactive approach is my plan. While I don't need these mounts right now it would be good to know of their availability. Fortunately the 348 doesn't eat these things like some of my previous cars.

It would be great if someone could provide dimensions so we could do some comparisons as time & opportunity permit.

If these are a match, we can add this to the 348 parts list.

    Great question!

Surely someone has a used 348 upper mount bushing that they can measure for us all. :)

At 12.95 (google search) each x'2, worth the gamble! I've spent more on a few bad drinks in an evening.

IIRC, wasn't there an older fiat model that used the same basic transmission as a 348. ? That may be a possible source thru fiat.Maybe it was an alfa , damn I know for sure that I read this somewhere, just cant find or remember where.

There are quite a few BMW models that use similar rear subframe bushes but they are of different dimensions, so there are several potential replacements right there. Even if none are an exact fit it would likely be possible to fabricate pieces to replace the Ferrari mount that use a BMW bush instead of the original.

There are a number of companies that make polyurethane replacement bushes or BMWs and other cars so that's yet another avenue to investigate. Also, I've heard of people injecting liquid urethane into the voids on stock bushes in order to reduce the flex built into factory rubber bushes. It apparently works better than you might think, although I don't know how long it lasts. Might be something to look into as a means of repairing a failing mount if you catch it before it fails completely.

I tried to measure the diameter of the original mounts (in situ, not very accurate) and I think they are a few mm smaller than the BMW mount. Looks like it is possible to make them fit by machining the outer sleeve down but it seems that it would make it very thin. BMW mounts are also obviously shorter than the originals (which may not really matter). In any case, the best is if someone can provide the measurements of the original mount.

If they're few mm smaller then maybe e30 rear subframe bushes might work. No idea if they're smaller than the e32 bushes but they may well be since its a smaller/lighter chassis.
