Transmission oil leak

    The old girl has been outstanding for a number of years, but has mysteriously developed an oil leak.
    The car is a 99 yellow GTS. The leak is where the shifter linkage enters the transmission. The leak is coming out of the black rubber bushing.
    Can someone tell me what type of seal is in the housing? Is it a simple fix?
    It appears that I can drop the cross frame support bar and have ample clearance.

    I’m not too sure, but I remember reading somewhere that it is one of the easiest and cheapest fix for leaks. I believe the 348s may have a similar leak. I’m sure someone with more knowledge will chime in.

    I have the same problem with the 99 f355 spider, leak from the shifter linkage.
    what is the repair procedure to replace the seal and the torn boot?
