Did you have the speedster in the UK? How did it cope with the weather here? I had one while living in Los Angeles in 1995 - to be honest it was even on the impractical side for the weather there. Did you get much for it when you sold it - I understand they were rare - much rarer that the impact bumper version from 1989. LWR
Loved this car almost as much as the 355 ! Hood was fine but a bit fiddly. This car was one of 12 RHD UK cars in a one off Amazon Grn over Blk. Price was mid £40k s, i think. Mine was Nero/Nero (or Schwarz/Schwarz) with sports seats. Looks amazing in amazon green - wouldn't it be great to have something like that in your collection still? It would be in my fantasy garage...
