I'm planning on going to the Muskegon air show with the car, but am afraid of the heat wave, which made the drive back last year a total torture. A/C just isn't up to battle triple digit temps.

So I'm thinking about renting a truck to haul the car to Muskegon. I'm sure a good US truck has A/C powerful enough to hang meat in the cabin.

Anyway, what are my options? I know there is UHaul. Anybody else?

I'll keep an eye out for you. I'm just going to "Play it by ear" as they say, and see what the temps. are supposed to be like as we get closer to the event. If it's going to be really hot. I'll probably just get a Trailer and hook it up to my Van.

But, if it's going to be somewhat decent for those 3 days. I'm just going to drive my Ferrari up there. I'd much rather just do that anyway. It is only a 2 1/2 - 3 hour drive. And mostly Highway. So thats not too bad. On my way home last year. I had my Air Conditioner cranked up, and my windows open about 2 inches. It was hot when we were driving around from the Art Museum to the Mansions. But, once we got moving on the Highway, we kept nice and cool while we were at the Highway speeds.

You know, the bad thing is having to bring the targa top with. I can't fit mine behind my seats. If I could, then I'd definitely just drive the car up there with the top off.....Ofcourse, provided it's not Raining....Then, it's back to square one!....:(

Hey guys, I just got back from Tucson. It was 106 in the shade in the afternoon. Travel early. The golf course was jammed by 7am. Temp was great and finished our round and was at the pool before the temp climbed. It was also pleasant in late evening.
