just out of curiosity, was is the average cost for this? I have never had a car shipped.

Don't shop cost. If you do you'll likely be disappointed. Quality shipping is not the cheapest. I had a beater shipped once, when it showed up the roof had a nice area of nasty motor oil on it due to the car above it.

Call them directly to get a quote.

Professionalism is tough to find in this industry, time tables are frequently dropped, most promises made are not kept, etc.

I have never used intercity myself and am only speaking from the experience of using the "cheaper" transporters. For my Ferrari, I've driven it cross country when the move called for it. Fun.

 

Try Ferrari ft lauderdale or plycon.

 

if I recall about $2 per mile could be a working number... per mile is round trip... the hauler needs to get back to the starting point... plus other expenses as insurance etc can be added...

using a known commercial specialty car carrier should be the best choice... also it can be more cost effective, as they can add and delete cars along the way to share in their total costs

2 years ago I shipped a car from Texas to NJ via Intercity and it was $1800. On time delivery and perfect condition

 

Check with Intercity, Reliable Carriers, and Exotic Car Transport.

All three are good companies and run that route on a regular basis.
