Hi guys, I am planning on going to France for a week in April and I want to know when would be the best time to book flights to and from direct. About 3 weeks ago I did the research and it said my flight would cost me with taxes and everything under $800. Now I it is more than $1200. If anybody has some tips I would gladly appreciate it.

And yes I will be taking my Camera along with me so you can some of the cars I hope to see.

I should point out that I would like to leave from Pearson.

The closer you get to the departure date, the higher the price will get.

Try booking flights 2-3 months in advance, and always get quotes from charter airlines, (Air Transat, Skyservice (bankrupt??) they are always cheaper than the corporations such as Air Canada, Lufthansa etc..

June-October is High season for Europe, the prices will always be expensive. $1200 seems like a fair deal, July or August might have been $1500-1700 from my experience.

From experience the lOnger you leave it the more expensive it gets. Unless you luck into a seat sale. I've been online booking flights, gone to ask the wife confirmation, come back 2 mins later and I lost the price I was looking at and now it has gone up!! Good luck and Bon voyage!!

They don't fly direct from Toronto, though.

Like Lucas said, try Air Transat. You should be able to find a non-stop flight for under $900 round-trip.

Just came back from France. As usual you will find the nicest cars in Cannes. Hang around the Carlton(room prices arnt bad) or the Martinez.
