If you are traveling from the US and perhaps connecting in London for example there are no mandatory requirements - if you connect in or visit certain other countries before arriving in India then Yellow Fever is mandatory. That said, there are definitely strongly recommended meds/shots to get prior to leaving and take while there. In Colorado we have a place called "Passport Health" that is always up-to-date on any/all required and recommended meds/shots depending on where you are traveling - and they can administer them (as well as help with Visa's etc.). Below is what I had when I went to Delhi/Gurgaon/Noida in 2017 - Hope this helps - Cheers :)

Thanks so much!-I have an appointment tomorrow with a “travel clinic”-I was just going to get the hepatitis a and that’s it but now I am concerned so I’ll take their recommendations.

Yeah I think that is the smart way to go - I did not have any adverse reactions to any of it and if they are like Passport Health (I am sure they are) then they give you a nice little "package" that has all your records - actually clips to your passport so when you clear customs and immigration in India it makes things smooth and they seem to appreciate American's that have gone over and above and are prepared.

Another tip FWIW (and you probably already know this but some don't) - when you are leaving (at least is was this way in New Delhi) you MUST have a PAPER/PHYSICAL flight confirmation to get entry into the airport - "e-tickets" and OR codes on phones won't cut it - has to be physical piece of paper - at least it was that way in 2017. So make sure you print out your flight confirmation(s) before heading to the airport.

I loved being in India - people are amazing / food is amazing / culture is amazing - Enjoy :)

Wow that sounds amazing and very exciting!! Maldives and Dubai are both on my travel "bucket list" !!

Unfortunately I can't make Cavallino but will be there in spirit

Great to "e-meet" you and will definitely let you know if I find myself heading to Philly- and likewise if you head to Colorado! I also spend a lot of time in Florida and obviously a lot of events there so perhaps another opportunity to meet up.

Take care and if you have any other questions about India I'm happy to help/answer if I can.

    Cheers
