    I've gone BA First in 747s, and I have to agree-- it's very nice, and IMO nicer than anything you see in those pictures.

    Twice I flew BA 747s in coach between JFK and LHR and the flights were all great.

    747 is my favorite commercial plane. Loved getting the chance to take a tour of the upper deck of a South African 747-300 during a short leg to pickup more passengers (only 1 guy up there in business at the time). Best view ever from the flight deck of a sunset.

    TWA 747-100 and Iran Air 747-SP were also fun rides.

    47 years and still going strong. Would love to go on Lufthansa's 747-400 first class configuration with the seat and adjacent bed. Too bad I can't afford that, ha!
