I've found a couple companies that rent out Ferraris, but unfortunately I've never been to Germany (obviously while I'm there, I'd like to ensure I'm making the most of my trip!!) and I want to ensure I find a respectable company to work with who will not take advantage of me for being a tourist.

    Can anyone make some recommendations?

I will be flying into Frankfurt on March 25th and will only be there for 2 days before hitting my connector to Niece.

    Thanks for your help everyone!

here is a link where you can rent a Ferrari for a couple of days.

    http://www.special-cars.de/

There are other companys where you can get a Ferrari for a 1 or 2 hours trip.

any links to the other companies as well?

Have you rented from Special-cars? I want to go to Nurburging for the day and will pay extra insurance if necessary. Do they specifically tell you NOT to go or if their is a fine for doing so?

for short trips (1-2 hours) you can look at www.speedsafari.de
I'll drive a 355 Spider of them in a couple of months
    I also know of www.ferrari-event-agentur.de
but I have no references about them.

    About spcial cars:
Don't know how it is with the Nürburgring. If they don't tell you not to go on racetracks I don't see a problem in going there.
If you rent a car from them you have only 200 km or so free (depends how many days you rent the car) - that means if you drive more then you have to pay for any km over it (2,50 € with the F30).

the speed safari looks pretty good. 75 an hour isn't bad at all. I don't see why I should rent one for a full day premium (24 hours) and pay for 12 hours while I sleep.

The other website sounds like they make you take instructors out with you and so forth and didn't list prices.

I've never driven the f355... it'll be interesting if I go this route.
