Took the GTC and went on a short vacation this past week, to fly model airplanes in Pennsylvania Image Unavailable, Please Login . Amazing how much that little car can hold! The round trip was around 1,200 miles.
I'm always happy to hear or read of actual long distance, i.e. GT, travel experiences in vintage cars, even more so if the car in question is of type originally designed for it. We did 700+ over 4 days in my Roadster week ago.
That's just so awesome. I would guarentee Bob is the only person who uses his car like that. I want to see a picture of it packed! Bob you are one of a kind, in a good way! Anyone know how to contact Petrolicious or one of the other cool video blogs? We need a feature on Bobo.
THANKS to all for the kind words. I'm truly glad that you appreciate the enthusiasm I have for a car that I've owned for almost 43 years and around 147,000 miles. I plan to use it regularly as long as I'm able to drive! Bob Z.
Hi Bob, Your photo tickles me to death. I am going to make it my new screensaver if the resolution is good enough. It will be an inspiration for me to just drive. I see that your trip included one of your other hobbies, radio controlled airplanes. We miss you two! You need to come visit us on the lake. It is beautiful here. Oh, and you drive the GTC and Harriett can drive something with A/C. Take care and let's talk soon. You are an inspiration. Here is my next trip...LOL.
