The Triangle Italians will be gathering on Saturday, March 5th for the monthly Cars-n-Coffee. We will be meeting at our regular place (Brier Creek Commons) at the junction of Highway 70/Glenwood Ave and Interstate 540 @ 9:00AM.

Breakfast and coffee is a short walk to either Caribou Coffee or Bruegger's Bagels.

For those in the Cary / Morrisville / Apex area, we'll meet at Leith Volkswagen (back near Mercedes Benz) around 8:15AM and caravan from there...always a great drive.

    Look forward to seeing everyone!

I hope to be there - it's been a while...my in-laws will be in town and I know my Father-in-Law will get a kick out of seeing all of the cars. Let's hope the rain holds off!

I plan on being there. Haven't seen any of you guys in a while thanks to mother nature. I will try and clean up the old girl before I take her out as I have had plenty of runs with her but no time to pretty her up. See you Saturday.

Actually, it has been pretty solid through the years. During the belt service they found bad leakdown numbers on 4 cylinders (one was REALLY bad) so I had the heads redone.

    Just a question.....

Is this an "official" Cars-n-Coffee meet or just a weekly/monthly meeting for this group (and others who happen to show up)? I'm just asking b/c Raleigh isn't listed on the Cars and Coffee website and I was wondering if this could/should be changed. I know most models have their own forums and their members are kept up-to-date w/meetings, etc, but for those that either don't belong to a forum or there isn't a local group keeping up with events, they could get the information from the Cars and Coffee official website.

    Just saying....

This is not an official cars-n-coffee...just an monthly gathering that now has taken on a life of its own. Last time I checked, there was a fee to have your locations' "cars-n-coffee" published on that site. We've been meeting at this same location for about 3 years now so everyone just kind of shows up on the 1st Saturday.

We may have to cancel and reschedule to the next Saturday due to rain. I'll be the one in a red (what else) 308 with plate that say "84 QV". Look forward to meeting you.

Ok. I wasn't aware of the process in having a location listed on their site. I guess you are the "un-official c-n-c" for this area. :) You may have seen me before. I had a black A4; we participated in your toy drive a few years ago. I now have a black BMW 335i, plate reads "GRLPWR4U". hehehe Thanks for the clarification and hope to meet you tomorrow as well. Oh, I'll be easy to spot - platinum faux-hawk in pink. ;)

A great turnout and it was great to see everyone. Amy is looking at planning a drive out to Big Boss Brewery in Raleigh next Saturday and meeting for lunch. Any interest? I will post this idea in a different thread as well.

Sorry Greg, but the brewery tours are limited so they only host them on certain days:

Guided by our staff of well-oiled brewers, tours of the brewery take place the second Saturday of each month at 2 p.m. The 30-minute tour takes you through our entire facility where you will learn about Big Boss’s beer-making process. And afterward you can try a few sample brews for $1 each (limit three).

The tour is free and no reservations are required.
