    Hello everyone,

When my 348 Spider sits parked for while I use a trickle charger.

However, while using a trickle charger and the car will be parked for a Winter, do you turn off the battery or no?

    Thank you,
    Mike

Turning off the battery may stop the trickle charger recharging the battery depending on how your trickle charger is attached to the battery.

Is the trickle charger negative lead attached to the battery itself or is it attached to the chassis?

Attached to the chassis in the engine bay. The battery is in the wheel well up front.

The battery switch detaches the battery negative lead from the chassis. If your trickle charger uses the chassis, then there can be no current flow through the chassis to the battery. i.e. it won't charge the battery if the battery cutoff switch is in cutoff.
