    Hi guys, I plan to go out of town for 2 weeks and plan to install the trickle charger. Do I need to insert the key or turn it to acc mode? Or do I just plug in the trickle charger?

    Just plug it in and make sure the unit lights up.

    plug the lo-voltage cable of the charger into the car before you insert the 110v plug into the wall.
    when you want to drive the car, unplug from the wall first.

    Can I assume that the charger for the spider is the same as for the Italia?

    Also, has anyone ever seen a solar powered adapter for this application?

    Plug it in, run it under the passenger side door and shut the door. No worries.
