I use the BatteryMINDer 12 Volt 4 Amp on my "84 308QV. It comes with the lighter socket adapter, and desulphenates when not charging. I leave it on most of the winter (Dec-Mar) and it works very well.

    My $.02,

The best way to keep the battery charged is to drive the car! Good grief, sometimes I wonder why some of you even buy a Ferrari. You would come out much better to just buy a poster to look at if looking at it is all you want to do.

    Now that's helpful......

I drive my car a couple of times a week, I've put 2,000 miles on it this summer, but it still sits on a trickle charger when I'm not driving it.

Also, from mid December till the end of February it's a little tough to take it out on the salt covered streets here in the northeast, so it also charges then.

I also have a poster sized print of my car. It has a trickle charger too.

Thx 4 all the info, I will hit up Walmart asap. On one of my stored vehicles, I don't have a live cig.lighter, and on the Mondial its an odd euro style lighter that I have never been able to use. Its an 83 US Model too...

I also have access to those solar chargers that are used while cars are waiting at the port. Those plug into cig.lighter, not sure what voltage they bring in during sunlight hours.

Not so easy to drive a Ferrari in a NYC winter. Between the salt, sand and slush covering the ground for about 4 months, even if you disregard caring for the car and don't mind exposing it to those harsh conditions, you won't be able to drive very far except in a circle.
