I’m still smiling. What a beautiful aircraft. pulled some G just in turns, makes me appreciate the generation who flew these in combat.

Yes! I’m only 50 once, unless I make it to 100!

I was blown away when I opened the gift. My wife is pretty special. I married well, not sure she would say the same :D

Looks great fun. I’ve flown a P51 out of Florida and i’m sure there will be other opportunities out in US of A too!

For a second there I thought she had bought you the Spitfire! :) Loving both Lamborghinis and WWII aircraft, as well as having a wife who supports my passions, I can appreciate both your enjoyment of the gift and your thankfulness for the one who bought it for you. My lovely wife has arranged both rides and drives of Lambos over the years (a Murcielago around a racetrack on one occasion and an Espada on another) and I've had the privilege of flying in a couple of Tiger Moths and a PBY Catalina. Thumbs up to the wonderful ladies in our lives who put up with our obsessions!!:):)

I would love to bu a Spit, but alas, don't have the millions required. Buying is one aspect, the other are the running costs  But what a brag that would be! "Hang on, I'll fly over in my Spit" :D

Yes, my wife has the passion also and can't wait to get her backside into the seat in the QV.

    She's a keepr for sure! :D:cool:
