If Audi would ever consider to sell ...

I disagree 100%. BMW would be a far better parent company then Audi. Audi's are not all they are cracked up to be. The 2010 models are a HUGE improvement to the previous cars, but time will tell. I have come to the point where I refuse to work on any 2002 and up Audi, because of the crumby engineering and packaging designed into the cars. Remove the exhaust manifold to change an O2 sensor on the S4?? Never again.

Hell try to replace a simple fuel tank sending unit on an A8 and you have to remove the entire rear section of the car!! And people think Ferrari's and Lambo's are hard to work on, you guys ani't seen nothin.

I'll buy that !! To change a tail light bulb ... you jack up the car and remove the Gallardo's wheel and fender liner !! Pure genius.

HA!! You gottta remove the bumper to change the headlight assembly in ANY Audi pre 2010. Even the dealers are starting to refuse work on the out of warranty Audi's because of how difficult they are to work on.

The Gallardo is a bit better overall from a packaging stand point, but not by much.

The BMW's are a walk in the park. And they LAST. BMW makes a great product that is thought out from start to finish. Audi's seem to be throwen together, with no thought surrounding the serviceabilty of the car.

The service bills I have writen for Audi's would put a Ferrari service bill to shame...but for some reason the Audi driver pays it without question, but the Ferrari guy ALWAYS cry the blues..I just don't get it..

I LOVE BMW. Not saying Audi is doing a bad job (in fact, quite the contrary, they spawned the 6.0, diablo GT, murcielago's and not to mention the LP550-2!) but I reckon BMW will spawn a few more RWD models (or have 4WD as an option again).

    BMW Lambo huh? interesting.

well BMW did make the Best V12 engine in the world, overall packaging, not too sure about the bangle styling, but seems like everyone else is copying it.

a new gen Lambo, more RWD biased, perhaps even turbo, hydrogen, sheer driving pleasure?

i do like what they've done with RR.

There's an old Citroen mechanic that I know, who has a plaque in his garage that reads (in french): "Those that designed this car, have never worked on this car".

I do not know if the politics of the German auto industry will allow this to happen, but I would say it would be a positive for Lamborghini.

    What I meant was:

Audi would never do business with it's rival

as Lambo would make BMW name even bigger and Vag would look like losers

that's what I tried to say

Don't know who will buy, but someone will. Volkswagen is that latest car company trying to become the largest in the world gobbling up brands. We all know how that ends up...Failure. Expect them to start shedding them sooner than later.

Based on Lambos 2009 sales you could understand VW wanting to offload the brand - especially considering VW's plan to concentrate on high-quantity, down-market models in an attempt to outsell Toyota worldwide. BMW would be a better owner than most at this point, but this rumor is probably just that.

I can just see this turning into the mess that went on for a while with RollsRoyce and Bentley. In the end BMW will own "Lambo" and Fiat will own "Rghini".
