I need to re-glue the ceiling cover in my 308 GTB - from 1977. It would be great if there are anyone that can share their insight on this? Thanks.

To remove the headliner you need to do the following:

    - Remove upper door weather stripping
    - Remove A & B pillar leather trim ( A pillar riveted, B pillar screws)
    - Remove both rear quarter windows ( Passenger side, 3 rivets in B pillar and pin in the back. Drivers side, 3 rivets in B pillar, 3 rivets in fuel fill.)
    - Drill out the 5 rivets on each side holding the headliner
    - Remove interior courtesy light and remove the screw in the headline bracket to above rear window
    - Slide headliner forward to release center front bracket

To reinstall, you will probably need to remove the rear self and rear window leather to get the headliner rear "ears" back under the trim.

I just put mine back in yesterday!

Many thanks for sharing Dockboy! So a little more work than I first thought it would be.;) Did you upholster the headliner yourself or is the original cover?

I had it recovered because I had to do some fiberglass repair work on the headliner shell.

I could no find the original vinyl anywhere! It is a very thick mil vinyl. I found the color, but not the mil.

So I had my upholstery guy do it in leather in the same color.
