    I know it is not automotive, but saw one today for sale in a nice store and was impressed with the level of details on this 40" span Al model. they were asking just below $600 free shipping . Anyone owns one of these?

    They are very good models for the money - a lot of bang for the buck. I have seen them in person and they really are surprisingly good considering the prices. Company name is 'Authentic Models'. All are made in China, which is why prices are so very low. Other aircraft are also made. I've been on the fence about buying one of their other models, and have been considering the Spitfire or P51 Mustang. Most, or the rest of their models can be seen on ACME website - you have to click on the boat image that has the Authentic Models brand name. I am not affiliated in any way or form with ACME, I just happen to know that models can be seen there.
