Trip to Factory and drive Fiorano- Thanks Ferrari

Dear All

I thought I would give you a quick summary of one of the highlights of owning a Ferrari from last weekend:

Email arrived about 3 weeks ago from my local dealer (F dealer that is): Would I like an expenses paid (excl travel there/back) to visit Ferrari final assembly line/classiche workshop, an afternoon driving a Roma Spider on local roads for 60km, dinner at Cavallino, nice hotel, and following morning 2 driving sessions at Fiorano with the 296 GTB…

…..Couldn’t attend as I had a haircutting appointment already booked. Just kidding, what a GREAT weekend meeting some cool people, and that 296 is absolutely, unbelievably amazing. Then, they wrap it all up with personalised photos of the weekend and videos of your driving. Ferrari know how to create experiences.
Plus a drive through the Alps from Munich to Maranello in the 612.

Not too bad I would say…set my expectations lower for next weekend.
