I'm planning a trip to the homeland and I want to visit the factory while I am there. I talked to my dealer and he said the entire process is handled online now and they really don't schedule any of this anymore. OK, cool. I like doing this sort of thing by myself anyway. I went to the owners site and I surfed around every nook and cranny but except for what looks like an annual July trip, I can find nothing where I can put in some dates and try to schedule a factory tour or book the Planet Hotel or dinner at Cavallino etc.

Anyone know how I go about this and if there is a change in how this is done? The trip is in May. Thanks

I can't believe you own an F430 and are asking this question.

Do a search and you will find plenty of info about factory tours for owners.

I am going in a couple of weeks and arranged it through my dealer with little problem.

I did ask the dealer and they told me to go online and I can do it from there. Has the procedure changed from what it was? That is the question?

There is a procedure online through the Owner's site for a tour that involves a night or so in a hotel, various tours, etc., but it is done on a monthly basis or so only a few months in advance.

If you are going to be in Italy and want a personal tour of the factory, then your dealer is supposed to set it up through FNA.

The tours are personal and are at 10AM or 3 PM and for no more than 3 people.

Apparently 2 days of the week are reserved for tours in English.

I called with three weeks notice before my trip and had it all set up within a few days. FOA seems really on the ball. Never bought anything from them but they are the dealer for my area and have done a great job for me. They should send you a questionaire for you to fax back to them about your info, etc.

FNA has been great as well and is FedExing the materials for my tour to me today.

    Good Luck!

This is misinformation from the dealer. You still have to go through them(or FNA) to line up a tour date. If they give you the runaround just play dumb and call FNA directly and tell them that you'd like to line it up as you don't see how it's possible to do online as per what X dealer told you.

That's what I did, used one of those lighter cameras. The thing didn't take pics for shLt as the slightest movement causes them to be blurry. Here's one for example.
