the problem with these paints though as most of the experienced painter here said, its hard to match if something goes wrong. Its possible but its very hard to match it.
Just giving this thread a bump. I am interested to see more photos of the triple layer paints. We have a car about to go red 10 in Bianco Fuji.
This 458 is triple-yellow. The paint is called Giallo Triplo Strato Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Ferrari sends bodies out for the triple layer paint. It's not done at the factory. I guess my take is that if that paint shop can do it, so can others. I love my Giallo Triplo Strato. Got the same color for my Speciale that's in production now.
Rosso Coburn Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Your car is stunning and that color you came up with is just gorgeous! If I were to have a red Ferrari, it would be Rosso Coburn!
Matching can be done by a good shop. Obviously it will cost more. An Xpel clear wrap job is in order if you have one of these paints so as to minimize anxiety and road chips.
I really REALLY want Rosso Berlinetta on my F12 when I order her....! Just pains me that you get back next to nothing on the huge cost of the paint.... :-( you only live once tho!
How does the Rosso Coburn look in comparison to the Rosso Fuoco and Rosso Maranello in the flesh? Is it darker than Rosso Corsa?
here's more triple coat yellow Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
If I ordered an F12 I would do it in RB. It is a tough $$$ to swallow but "life is short." Also as has been pointed out the quality is better than in house -- much less orange peel. Don't forget the expel when you get her.
