Hey guys, I am doing some research for an upcoming project, and I was wondering if anyone has pictures or can share stories about architecture with a "tropical atmosphere". Specifically, I am looking for pictures of places that have a traditional, old world feel, with tropical colors, plants, and caribbean motifs incorporated. Right now, my group is in the development stages of a similar project, and I would just like to see what's out there, for inspiration and ambition to go above and beyond. Thanks in advance.
I'd start on flickr or google for images, figure out where they are from and narrow it down from there. your profile says you're a designer, what kind?
Thanks for the advice. I have been looking on flickr and many other sites, trying to get as much info as possible, using as many resources as I can. My degree is in Industrial Design, but currently I do a lot of freelance graphic work for various companies and websites, and work for a friend's development group in Philadelphia.
This is more south pacific tropical rather than caribbean. http://www.premierestateproperties.com/luxury_real_estate/florida/palm_beach/mckinney/R3012153.aspx?lang=en
