Well, nice warm day here in VA so I decide to take the old 348 to work. Coming back on the interstate with a semi in front and one to the side at 70 MPH a retread shows up in front, no time to dodge or anything. Bam... This happened to the previous owner too and when I bought the car it had some cracks. I reglassed it and resprayed. Here we go again... Last time I fixed it on the car, but this one might take a little more glass in the back requiring removal of the front bumper. Anyone know how that thing comes off?

    Sorry to see that. :(

Similar happened to me but I only suffered multiple scratches and nicks on the front hood and headlight covers.

    OUCH!

Just take it to any good fiberglass shop to have it fixed. It's not hard to remove it, 1 hour tops, and that is taking your sweet time.

Take the two front wheels off then inner wheelwell liners and then its obvious. 4 big bolts are accessed through front bonnet and 4 little ones under the wheel wells.

I believe in the diy sticky someone shows method.

Too bad, seen this many times and I do not spend much time close too semis.

Good news is a wheel didnt come off or major damage vs a retread.
