    The 458 has been an extremely common sight in our shop over the past few years and from the first rumors of a twin turbocharged replacement, we have been dying to get our hands on one. Thankfully, the TAG Motorsports project 488 GTB is finally here and we're excited to share our first round of upgrades with you!

    HRE's new Series P2 is a perfect stylistic match for the latest generation of supercars like the 488. We chose a 20"/21" set of P204s in Satin Bronze and introduced them to the fenders with Novitec's Sport Spring Set. 458 owners are familiar with this popular kit which allowed us to dial in exactly the ride height we wanted using the factory threaded adjustments, this is a great option for owners who don't want to move to an aftermarket coilover solution or who want to retain the exceptional ride quality of the OEM dampers. The Novitec spring rates give a very nice ride and handling balance even at significantly lower ride heights.

    We have partnered once again with Novitec Rosso for this build, their ability to consistently deliver immaculately engineered and manufactured parts for our customers made them an obvious choice. Their exterior carbon fiber suite for the 488 is absolutely gorgeous and delivers tangible decreases to front and rear aerodynamic lift. Novitec is still one of the only companies that designs and tests its aerodynamic upgrades in a wind tunnel and it's nice to know that these beautiful upgrades aren't negatively impacting the behavior of the car at high speed.

    Round 2 is currently in progress, the Novitec Performance Stage 2. This includes Novitec's Catalyst Replacement Pipes, Power Optimized Exhaust System w/ Flap Regulation, and the N-Tronic Performance Tune.

    We have both versions of the rear section exhuast, with valves and the non-valved straight pipes, going onto our car for pictures and videos and will share everything we have soon!

    Just stunning, wheels are not my first choice but overall beautifully executed w/o over doing it. If it were me, this would be my wheel configuration:

    - HRE P101 in Grigio Corsa
    - Std. Speciale/488 sizing (20") w K1 Mich. PSC2 tyres
    - Carbon fibre hub caps
    - Titan. Valve stem caps

    I frown from putting any wheels larger than 20in, wheels appear
    disproportionate and chassis sits too high of the ground, just personal
    taste.

    Besides, imho the presented car should be lowered about 15-20mm more,
    still too much gap, there is some playing space..

    100-200KMH is 4.1 Seconds
    80-150 KHM is 3.0 Seconds

    So the front is a 20" wheel. The rear is a 21" wheel. The overall diameter in the front is exactly the same, the overall diameter in the rear is about .5" taller than OEM....

    Regarding the ride height, being that the car did not come with factory lift, yes i agree it sits a bit high especially with the new carbon bits in the front. Currently the Novitec Noselift is being installed so we will be able to go a HAIR lower, and have front axel lift, so wont have an issue clearing obstacles :)

    We just got done testing our 488 GTB with just about every configuration of Novitec exhaust system, while Gabriel is processing the video & sound clips for us to post here is a look at what the car looks like with the black Novitec tips.

    The Novitec Cat Replacement Pipes unleash the true sound of this Ferrari, a typical flat plane crank V8 wail with an intoxicating turbo spool. Novitec's Power Optimized Exhaust System With Flap Regulation allows you to keep the sound close to stock when needed but with the valves open, this is probably our favorite sounding turbocharged supercar on the market!

    Quick teaser of the Novitec N-Tronic units being programmed ahead of their installation into our 488 GTB. The power is just incredible, both in its quantity and delivery, after the N-Tronic is installed. I don't want to say it's a night and day difference because the 488 is already a ballistic missile but the N-Tronic takes the F154's twin turbo V8 character and amplifies it.

    Is the power band similar to stock NA like linear power band? since the kit can be activated / deactivated with the manettino switch at the steering wheel. I am guessing the seat of pants is got to be noticeable when it is activated. Can you guys also perform the install?

    There is no question that there is an increase in power. Both delivery and consistency are absolutely incredible. We have installed quite a few here in house, and can certainly get you set up!

    Sean, is the power band similar to stock with an NA like linear power band, or is some turbo-lag introduced with the increase in power?
