    1. My trunk is missing some hardware. It kinda looks like some of the bolts may be a specialty-type, with a stepped area, below a larger, flat head (3mm drive). These seem to be pretty popular for holding down interior carpet pieces. Then, maybe along the bottom, they are a basic button-head allen bolt (also 3mm drive) with a fender washer. Is this accurate?
I'd like to replace all of them, but I can NOT find a diagram on any of the parts sites that show these bolts. Does anyone know the part numbers? Does anyone know which are supposed to be which type of bolt, so I know how many of each I need? I've been all over Scuderia and Ricambi, all with no luck on the trunk carpet NOR the hardware.
    2. I found a diagram for the left and right engine bay covers/drains. On this diagram I see the part numbers for the M5 bolts and washers to hold the covers on, but I can not find a diagram that shows the clips that attach to the subframe area for those bolts to go into. I think there is only 2-4 of them total. Would anyone be able to help with these?
    3. I also need the same clips for the door panels. Maybe they are all the same?

Any help would be appreciated. I've been all over ebay, Ricambi, Scuderia, here, Facebook.. I'm stumped. Thanks, in advance.

I still have a question relevant to this. I came up against it last week and thought about posting, but set it to the back of my mind instead. But since this is now a live topic:
In my car (don’t know about everyone else’s?) on the left hand side of the front-most panel that houses the tool kit, there are 3 Christmas-tree style push fasteners holding the left edge of the front panel to the left side panel. Every other fastener is the one mentioned above; the 3mm stepped bolt. When I removed them, they were all basically cut in half to somewhat fit in there, but even then they didn’t fit or hold that well. There aren’t any holes behind the panels for actual bolts to fit into, and I can’t seem to find mention or note of them on the parts diagram. What gives?

They are an odd type of fastener that I found impossible to refit (if I recall they snap in place). I ended up using a U-shaped threaded retainer on the back panel and a threaded fastener matching the other fasteners used in the frunk.

That makes sense to me. I find it odd they’re not even on the parts diagram.

I got some ordered through the local dealer but found them impossible to fit so I opted for the other choice as delineated above. Looks good.

My car is also missing these. I cannot see a way to install these without attaching them and then installing both carpet pieces together at the same time.
There is no way to get to both sides in order to snap them together.
I gave up but willing to try any other option, if anyone has any pictures or part numbers of what they used.

I might try something like what I believe the Doc did. It’s one of those things that most people would never care about, but I like to take on these pet projects when I take notice of them, that bring the car ever closer to perfection, or as close to the day it left the factory -and in many cases, better- and once I get it in my mind, I can’t get it out until I complete it to my exacting standards!

Those are the correct parts but impossible for me to get to work whilst in the car.

I gotta know how we're supposed to use those. I'm thinking connect the two pieces outside of the car, then put both pieces of carpet in at the same time.

Maybe? I would’ve assumed, looking at the pictures, that you would put the big one on the back side of the side panel, then insert the smaller one through the front panel to secure them together. Then I would’ve assumed that removal would work just like any other push fitting, with a panel popping tool. But it sounds like @Doctor Mark had a different experience. Perhaps he’ll chime in with what difficulty he had with them.

I could not get the clips to go together as the carpet is fairly thick. At that point, I just decided to go in a different direction. The end result to me was not worth the hassle and frustration. I am sure it can be done but not by me. The screw and retainer route also made future removal a lot easier.
