Trunk issue on the FF

    My trunk all of a sudden stopped reacting to any buttons and it does not open. I have to crawl through the back seats and when I get it to open and try to use the button to close, it goes down but will not latch. Any ideas how to fix that?
    I searched and it does not seem like the common problem on the FF.
