    I would like to remove the spring keeping the trunk lid up on my 75 GT4. It seems to be twisted a bit and is rubbing on the lid enter support. Looks pretty straight forward. Maybe just remove the cotter pin and slide the bushing down but there is a lot of pressure on the spring and I don't want to remove that otter pin and have the whole thing go flying or damaging something.     Have had mine off a couple of times, nothing flies away from what I remember.
