    How do you (other Cali owners) deal with the trunk light when you plug in the C-tek trickle charger?

    I’ve tried closing the trunk but that seems to pinch the charging cable. I’ve also tried to leave it open but that leaves the (relatively) hot trunk light running.
    I hoped the light would timeout and turn off but after waiting about 20min I gave up on that.

    Likewise. However, I try make sure the conditioner wire rests on the felt rather than metal /plastic when the boot lid is closed...T

    I just put a small piece of wood that prevents the trunk from closing completely .
