Hello, I have a 1997 456 GTA UK RHD with no blower or HVAC controls working. I have been looking for the 7.5 amp and 30A (40A?) fuses in the 068 Evaporator parts diagram below. On the parts diagram, they are shown on the RHS footwell - the driver's side of an RHD car. I have the two relay setup as in the later circuit diagram shown below; my assy no is 24276. Special thanks and acknowledgment to whoever did this circuit diagram! The problem; search as I might on both sides - passenger and driver - I cannot find any fuses. I trace the red wire from the black battery type connector (see pic) which according to the diagram shows feeds 7.5a and 30a fuses then off to the ECU and blower respectively. The red wire appears to be heading up into an inaccessible part of the dash (presumably to feed the blower motor) - where I hope no fuse would be located! I have followed the red wire by hand - I am obviously missing something! Any help would be great!

Crazy... I wonder if they are taped up somewhere.... just pull hard :D

I found these 456GT photos online....

40amp (right side of evaporator) . I think the small one is hidden in the first photo...

I found this photo of an M car.... The fuse seems to be on the left side, under the hot water (TGK) valve, despite what the parts manual shows.

Maybe you should invest in one of those smartphone boroscopes to chase the wiring.

I wonder if Ferrari retrofitted the 30 amp fuse with a 40 amp fuse. The 40 seems to be found on all cars.

    You're welcome :D

Well a big thank you for the fast response and also not only this circuit diagram but all the others which I guess you created on your website? I know what a pain that must have been to do, you have the patience of a saint! I am pretty good with electronics and computing stuff - in my early years I used to bench repair circuit boards from those ancient mainframe computers. I have to admit that Ferrari electrics have tested my character... Anyway, the boroscope was next on my list - having said that I hung on to that red wire from the battery connector on the basis that it would "logically" lead to the fuse or fuses. I am pretty sure I have your diagram layout with twin fuses and twin relays - but it's a Ferrari and maybe they ran out of fuse holders! My hand won't fit up any further - so I have no idea what will happen if the fuses are up there! I'm back to have another poke around ...

Solved... thanks to Qvaion for the inspiration to have another look - I widened my search. Here is the tricky little fuse - looks like a single 40 A - its buried up above - not in my logical place inline on the red feed wire. I am pretty sure this must be up there for the award of the most inaccessible fuse. I shall attempt to remove this later ...wish me luck!

Crazy... so directly above the expansion valve (with the insulating foam on it). Maybe on RHD cars, they didn't want the wiring falling down onto the pedals.

Looking at most pictures of the fuseholders, it has the smaller, 7.5amp fuseholder piggybacked onto it.... even harder to get to.
