    Why is it so hard to find a 456M in black with 6 speed? Any ideas?
    Anyone have one for sale?

    Just too many autos out there. I've come a across a few recently, don't know if they're still around.

    I read that half were automatics but whenever I see one for sale it's almost never a 6spd. I think Steve Harris Imports in SLC had an M in a 6spd.

    Half might be true worldwide, but in the US far more were automatics. You're lucky to find a 6-speed in any color, let alone a specific one.

    Ron Tonkin has a 6-speed in blue, but it's overpriced.

    You might consider expanding your search to include 456GTs. There are plenty of 6-speed GTs out there, and the only real benefit I can see to the M (besides the fact that it's newer) is that it has keyless entry.
