Trying to find the story on this emblem

    I have this image that I painted 20 years ago, but it is not original. I stole it from the side of a racing car that I saw at a vintage track.

    What little I was told was that it was from an independent Ferrari shop (I think they were out of Texas?) and Ferrari Spa frowned on their use of the horse and emblem for a non authorized shop. I painted just because I thought it was humorous.

    I have had several people ask me about it and I have always had to give sketchy and probably inaccurate info. Does anyone know the real story.
