Trying to remove the Water Pump Shaft from the Housing, how???

    Hey Guys,

    I’m in the midst of rebuilding the Water Pump on my 1979 308GTB.

    I’ve removed the impeller and front wedge to access the shaft.

    My question is, from what direction does the shaft remove, from the front or rear of the housing?

    What’s the best way to remove it, beating on the shaft ends?

    Appreciate the help Guys, Oh BTW, I did look in the achieve section, but didn’t get the answer I was looking for.
