    Does anyone out there know anything about the 1990 348tb sold by Daniel Schmitt in December of 2003? It is white with black interior and someone had put 19" Masitaly wheels on it. I think it had about 29k on it at the time of the sale. Seems it may have had Illinois plates in the photos. I am trying to find out any history on it and was hoping someone here knew the car.

    Yes,

    I know the car. It was owned by a fellow that runs a strip joint in Peoria IL. Big Al's is the name of the place I believe.

    The car was on eBay but failed to sell. After the auction the owner raffled the car at a Harley Davidson meet in Peoria.

    A Gent that runs a Porn shop in Peoria won the car after buying two raffle tickets. The gent did not want the car however & opted for the cash equivalent ($25,000), which he split with another ticket holder (the two tickets were bought by two friends who agreed to split the winnings if either of them won).

    The car was wholesaled to the St.Louis dealership by the strip club owner to pay the cash-out option of the winners.

    By the way, none of that stuff is made up. Really, it actually happened that way. Wild but true.

    Thanks for the info, and so FAST! Did Schmitt tell you if the 30k service had been done on it? That is what I REALLY would love to know but know one has paperwork on it.
    Dr. Phil, You drove it? Did it seem correct to you? As far as a ride goes, it is in Florida now but it hopefully will be making its way to Michigan here very soon.

    To my understanding the previous Peoria owner had gotten a quote on the major service... But I do not believe he had the service performed before he wholesaled it. The answer is no farther than a phone call away I would bet.

    I do not know the past Ferrari owners name however. You will just have to ask the person who answers the phone @ Big Al's if they recall who owned the white Ferrari that was part of a raffle promo they did.

    Seems easy...

    Hey Michael,

    I believe we discussed this car right before the owner sold it to Schmitt.
    Also, I thought Schmitt had sold this car pretty quickly after they bought it.

    Matthew, I believe this may be the second time Schmitt has had this car.
    What does Schmitt say?

    Schmitt doesn't have the car. It is in Florida now. Nobody seems to know what the service history on it so I wanted to see if anyone on the boards owned int before or knew anything about it. Just trying to figure out if I would need to budget for a 30k service.
