2v or 4v?
Not sure i agree, the titanium 360 crank and rods in my 78 make me plenty fast, then again fast is all relative for an analog car...
^^ titanium crank? I agree with those that said ITB's. From the sounds of it that is not an easy proposition but I doubt harder than building a twin turbo system so that would be my choice.
I voted "carbs" but I'd love to see either. The reason I voted carbs is because I feel it is more inline with the essence of the car. The 308 has a great analog, vintage feel. Right down to the interior switches, it just has a vintage soul. Twin turbo would no doubt be cool but in my mind creates a project with a modern theme. Also, Im biased as the owner of a QV 308 who wants to add carbs or ITB's. Why? Simple, I love the Porsche Outlaw scene and think a 308 Outlaw would be the perfect combination. The Porsche community has a great attitude when it comes to "hot rodding" their cars. They do it extremely well. I admire that spirit. Rod Emory is my idol.
I used to work in a hot rod shop. Many people would come in saying they wanted their car to X in the quarter. We'd ask them how much they had to spend. Often times the answer was Nitrous. LOL
