My dealer is telling me that a Tubi Air filter for my 1990 348 is better than a K&N air filter. I went to the Tubi-style website and I can't even find info on the air filter. I have a Tubi exhaust and Hyperflow cats. Does anyone have any experience with a Tubi air filter???

It is, because it's a BMC filter!

Wrong. The Tubi filter, which is supplied when the exhaust is purchased, is not a red-tone BMC filter. It is a white, gauze-like material, with a light green border and a black rubber-like gasket.

I had the TSI (tubi style, inc) filters in my 355 and have the K&N in the 360. There is little difference between the two. K&N isn't as costly. Both are good filters.

Very strange, because BMC has indicated to me that they make that filter for Tubi.

So, maybe they do and it just has a different material and appearance.

K&N is better and cheaper the tubi filter will be made by somebody else and tubi will just double the price for putting a tubi sticker on it somewhere
