Happy new year Chatters ! Quick bit of "best practice" from those in the know - when fitting the replacement exhaust to my 355 - is it best to use exhaust jointing paste or not ?. Cheers all Laurence
I would not use any paste on stock flare/ball and socket type joints. If the tubi fits poorly then I may adjust my paste recommendations to suit the situation.
Definitely use anti-seize on the bolt threads ..... and if you like, anti-seize can even be used on the donut gaskets ....... they seem to withstand a few more removal/reinstall iterations IMO .....
