I wanted a used one too, but I got tired of waiting for one to pop up so I allowed my pockets to be robbed and bought a new Tubi.

Try calling around dealers and/or private guys who are selling 348s with Tubi on them. Ask them if they'd like to recover about $1500-$1900 by selling you the Tubi and popping the stock muffler back on. It's worth a try!

PS Bill--how was the run on Sunday? Send me a PM.

What is the "Sports Pack?" Is this something different than the standard Tubi exhaust?

Dave - i spoke with Manu today - you're sorted, i'm just hoping they can confirm the delivery (supposed to be Wednesday!) Jerrari - sports back = something to do with the lack of stock cats or something - who knows, gotta pay more money though (more for less - how does that work?? - dohh)

The sports pack is the tubi silencer, tubi test pipes (replaces the cats) and a sports air filter to assist in the air intake

Agreed,Tubi on a 348 does sound awesome!Had one on my 1990 348ts,unfortunately,I sold the car with the Tubi left on,also, gave the new owner the stock silencer if he decided in the future ,the Tubi was too loud.

It says Tubi Style, not Tubi could be a knock off as mentioned.

That Tubi looks VERY beat up.

I don't know if it's a fake; but if it's real, then it's real old because mine has a different logo on it.

    Bill -- I say this one's a no-go.

thanks for all the advice. i am not considering the ebay one especially since i haven't heard an answer w/r to age of exhaust. guess i'll have to do what everyone else does- wait until a used one pops up(better chance of h-ll freezing over) or spend the $3100-3200 for new one.....

i emailed tubistyle and they confirmed it is a copycat of a tubi , not a real tubi !!! and the seller also said they dont take anything but western union. so your ass is out there in the wind if you get this....IMO

    Hi Everyone,

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=10380&item=4526793165&rd=1

It's me who's selling this item and I really don't know if it's genuine or not. When it came off the car I was told it was a genuine Tubi so I decided to sell it. I don't have any papers or recepits for it - as mentioned in earlier posts, this exhaust was on the car when I got it.

It seems a bit strange, why would someone put a fake Tubi on a Ferrari ?? surely if you can afford to run a Ferrari then you can probably afford to buy a Tubi ?

Anyway, I took the car to FOC UK track days last year where people commented on the noise it gave, & it's certainly loud :)

    Regards,

    Chris

    Hi,

There was only 5 hours left to go on the auction but I thought it would be a good idea to cancel it as I can not guarantee if the item is a genuine Tubi or not.

It'll sit and gather dust !

    Regards,

    Chris
