what's average price and installation of tubi exhaust for '98 355? Trying to figure out how much it bumps the price up if you buy a car that has it - everything else being equal.

I recently had the job done on my '99 F355 at an independent shop. It ran around $5K installed. Adding hyperflow cats and low restriction air filters bumped the price another $2300.

Sound more than anything, performance is negligable. - night and day.

As a Tubi owner who has watched the list price of the Tubi increase by well over $1,000, I say that I think it is just absurd that a lump of metal should cost many thousands of dollars.

Try to find one used if you can -- but good luck, as there rarely are used ones around.

I didn't buy it for an increase in performance, which, as SF said, is negligible. The car already had more than adequate performance. Now the sound matches the performance.

Agreed 100%! I paid $1k shipped for a full titanium catback exhaust for my STi; IMHO these exhausts are just an example of the mfg gouging Ferrari owners. Personally I'd look into modifying the stock exhaust first and see how it sounds. I'd bet for a few hundred $ it will sound 80% (??) as good as a Tubi or others.
