I have an 03 360 that the original owner put a Tubi exhaust on. sounds great, but was wondering if there is something that can be SAFELY added to enhance the roar even more so? any recommendations or advice??? thanks!!

I had the same issue when I purchased my 03 with a tubi. I was so disappointed about the sound that I changed out the headers and install straight pipes. It gave me more of an aggressive tone and not to mention the throttle response now is amazing!! This is an option, but you might get a check engine light. I'm going to a Timate muffler next. Pm me if you have any questions

Take the tubi off and put a Ferrari factory race set up. Blast off brother.

Robbie has a point and way cheaper than adding additional mods to your existing tubi just to achieve a little more noise. I changed the headers after reading about all hype over the potential precat failure, but after taking the headers off I noticed that precats were perfect and realized It was a complete waisted my $$$. Spend the money on the f exhaust.

The next logical progression would be to add test pipes or high flow cats. Either will significantly increase the sound (especially with the tubi already in place) and greatly improve your throttle response.

I am interested in this as well, I have a Tubi on my 360 spider and was disappointed when I first heard it. I was considering removing it and putting something else on but I am not sure the best route to go. Are there different variations of Tubi (loud and quiet), and should I just put headers and new cats?? I like them loud so I am ok if this thing wakes my neighbours lol

We have our 360 spider here with our full Fabspeed exhaust (Headers, Sportcats, Maxflo muffler + tips) however I also have a tubi exhaust in a box. Would you guys be interested in me putting on the Tubi muffler with the Fabspeed headers and the Fabspeed sport cats so you can see how it sounds?

Seems like alot of work but I would like to hear that. Sorry to hijack this thread but it sounds like eg27 and I are after the same result. How important is header and cats being changed vs just a different louder muffler? Can you OM me pricing for new headers and cats?

Also is it possible that I have valves in the Tubi? Iv seen loud and quiet versions, the car sounds nice over 4000RPM but there is nothing below that and start up

Race Exhaust set up from Ferrari - Its loud and ripe.. Here is a clip of mine with valve lines off - meaning valves always open.. OEM cats and headers.. just the exhaust with valves open.. Notice how she gets louder as she pulls away from the camera.. Here are two short clips.. Was not kidding when I say blast off my fellow 360 brothers..

I have Tubi and Ryan's decat pipes which have 2 small glass packed resonators where the cats used to be. Its too loud for me in the car but I will get a friend to drive it past me with full throttle gear changes before I put the cats back on.
Definitely picked up a bit of throttle response. But hey they respond pretty good stock.

Personally I think it would be taking a step backwards to take off an existing muffler just to replace it with another one. You can keep the Tubi you have and still get the sound increase from deleting the cats in the headers and or putting on sportcats/Test pipes after the headers. In my experience, changing the primary cats makes the biggest difference in sound, especially when you already have an aftermarket muffler.

Here is an OLD video of a 355 with a Tubi and Catbypass pipes. Trying to find a video of a 360 with a similar set up. Also Cooper, sent you a PM

My only concern is a CEL from reading on the forum it'***** or miss. If I never found or should a say was made aware of the factory race set up I would have gone with fabspeed or timate muffler with fabspeed test pipes and add simulator to try and avoid CEL.

I've got an 05 360 spider that was ordered from the factory with the Challenge racing exhaust. AWESOME!!!! It is not only the exhaust hardware- the engine computer hardware is altered with this upgrade from the factory (specific ECU's). I recently added the Fabspeed headers and have more HP & peace of mind! The factory headers with only 12K were breaking down internally with loose pieces of CAT material. The headers have increased the noise levels even further.....cool!! You can never have enough of that Ferrari Music!

Dont mess with cats or headers imo. Simply take off your tubi and sell. They are easy to unload. Buy the factory racing exhaust for around 1500 or if you want to save some bucks get the $900 topspeed exhaust they are selling here in dallas. Timate titanium is another choice at 2k but some units had cracking issues so not sure if they addressed that.

I drive with valves open on my factory racing exhaust and am quite happy. Best quality, factory fit.

The exhaust that mimics f1 the closest is kriesseig but thats like 8k new.

I have one of the rare Tubi Stage 2 exhaust systems (not the NGT) that I may consider selling if you would prefer to go that route.

PM me if you are interested.
